Tyler Lindholm is a longtime resident of Sundance, WY. After graduating from Sundance High School in 2001, Tyler joined the US Navy and served for five years. During his service he was awarded two Naval and Marine Corp Achievement Medals and two Humanitarian Service Medals for his work in the rescue and relief efforts during the Tsunami of Indonesia and Hurricane Katrina.
Since his honorable discharge from the Navy, Tyler has served as a Crook County Volunteer Firefighter, and in 2012 was one of the Firefighters that fought the Oil Creek Fire in Weston County and in 2016 served on the Douglas Road Fire.
Like many in the district, Tyler has worked in both the energy and agriculture fields. For over thirteen years he has worked in the Power Industry and currently co-owns Cowboy State Testing, LLC. Tyler also works for his family's cattle ranch as Vice President. Working in these fields have shown him that regulation and an overbearing government can stunt the growth of business, hurting people in the process.
Before running for State Rep, Tyler served as Chairman of the Crook County Republican Party. He is now the Chairman of the Corporations, Political Subdivisions, and Elections Committee, and also servers as the Majority Whip in the Wyoming House of Representatives.
Tyler lives in Sundance with his wife Charity and their children Willow, Lily, Caleb, and Paul. Charity and Tyler met while they both served in the US Navy and just celebrated their 15th year of marriage. He is also a 2013 Wyoming LEAD Class Fellow
